Dear Fellow Club Members,
I'm sorry to report that Bert Johnson has passed away, at his home of 37 years, in Wattsburg, PA. He was diagnosed with a "life-ending" liver cancer, that caused his demise very rapidly and took his life on Tuesday, September 9, 2008, at 5:30 p.m. at the age of 67., There is a service today at 5:00 p.m (Sept. 11th). in Corry PA, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 520 Worth St. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to charity of choice. I believe that is the only service should you wish to attend.
Bert was our Secretary / Treasurer for many years and ran the Transmitter Impound at our Air Show . He also took care of membership dues and membership lists, and made the cards we carry. Bert was always willing to help with whatever we needed. He was a great guy, and I am privileged to have know him as a personal friend.
