PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Hello Thermal-G Eagles

At our December club meeting the votes were cast and your 2011 Officers are:

President: Murray Steinberg
Vice President: Tony Roussos
Secretary: Gary Niemi
Treasurer: Henry Theobald
Field Marshall/Safety Officer: Al Policano

At the December meeting, the question was asked if there is a means to allow input from club members to share ideas and information. Along with info on our current events, our website also has a section that is made specifically for this. Just click on the “Members Forum” tab, then “Member's Voice” and scroll to the bottom of page to find the link. This feature has always been there, but few have used it. Thank you Gary for the update.

For those of you who aren't on the internet, we are having a Holiday Fun Fly on Sunday, December 19th starting at 11:00AM – til? at the Erie County Technical School (Vo-Tech). I expect some people are already preparing their planes. In the past we have seen planes with ski's, floats, wheels, and gearless get into the air. Some took more prodding than others to get into the air, which seemed to make it all the more fun. Come one, come all and enjoy the fun

Our Annual Club Dinner will be held this year at the Sienbenbuerger Club on Sunday, February 13th. This will serve as February's club meeting as well. There will not be a meeting at the Gehrlein's on February 6th. The price per attendee will be the same as last year, $14.00. The doors open at 6:00PM, dinner served at 7:00PM. If you have a project or show piece, please bring it along to share.
